"This Ricco Kuehn W393 triple
horn ... is the best horn I have ever played! The resonance and consistency
throughout the entire range is remarkable. The horn behaves very honestly
- I can trust the notes to be and feel right where I expect them. The
intonation is excellent. The sound is incredible. The horn plays almost
effortlessly and truly enhances my playing in all dynamics,
articulations, and range! ... Thank you so much for a very special,
extraordinary instrument, Ricco! "

NEW!! - Model W393X - Full triple horn in F/Bb/F
alto with slides to convert from F alto to Eb alto. This
horn retains all the features of Ricco's W393 full triple horn, but has been
slightly re-wrapped to allow insertion of an included set of Eb alto slides.
For a modest increase in price you can improve the utility of your triple
horn, giving you great flexibility in your choice of fingerings and sound
quality in the alto range.
- W 293X - Knopf wrap full double horn.
An improved taper and wrap make this the next generation of K-model
(Geyer-wrap) horns. Agile and responsive, beautifully in tune, this is a
horn that is in a class by itself. This is a versatile, lyrical
instrument equally at home in any setting.
- W 293-L - Knopf wrap full double horn with "Vienna-style" throated bell. Ricco took his traditional Knopf model, modified the bell throat and matched a
new mouthpipe to produce a K-model horn with all the dark carrying power you
would expect of a symphonic horn.
- W 283 - Knopf
wrap, built with a light weight bell and light bracing. Quicker taper
mouthpipe gives a free-blowing feel while retaining response and intonation.
