This is a yellow brass Atkinson 101, unlacquered in very good shape, with two bells and a case. The 101 is a large-throated Kruspe-style horn with a big, dark sound. The two bells, Europa and Kruspe-copy, give it a variety of colorations and projection characteristics, so this horn can be comfortable in any setting, chamber or large ensemble. |
